Yeah, because I'm definitely buying the Clara and people will be buying it for 20% off. But there's no way i can make the showlol, that makes you sad?![]()

I'd be surprised if Clara is even for sale there to be honest, if it is I am happy to pick one up for you though. Just don't tell anyone.
Having attended both days of CanJam SoCal a month ago, the following kit are my recommendations (in no particular order) to audition in Dallas. It is important to mention that I am a headphone (not IEM) guy. My preferred sound signature falls between that of Jude and Brian -- but closer to Brian (see Dallas CanJam video).
Abyss Diana DZ -- I didn't hear them all in SoCal, but of those I did - this may be my top headphone pick (given show conditions) of those currently available for sale.
Sennheiser HE-1 -- hope you reserved a spot.
Austrian Audio The Composer -- new company that has deep roots back to AKG. Has been described as a "perfected" AKG K-812.
Dan Clark Audio E-3 -- outstanding studio can that is much more.
Dunu Arashi -- (by default?!) new flagship (planar) headphone; hopefully available in Dallas through a vendor - as Dunu is not listed as an exhibitor in Dallas, despite its USA rep being from Austin
ampsandsounds Red October XL -- I always enjoyed auditioning this line of tube amps, but this one is not at all bloomy to my ears.
In addition be sure to give a listen to the reel to reel tape deck running at 15 ips and playing low generation from the studio masters and the Rega P8 turntable with Ania moving coil cartridge fed into a Cord phono pre-amp if they show up in Dallas.

I’ll PM you if they have any for sale there but I think I last heard Clara ETA was end of November? I might be mistaken.

Planning on trying to hit all the exhibits between both days. Are we allowed to bring snacks and drinks? (Provided I consume them off to the side away from anyone and wipe my hands?)
Snacks and drinks are often brought to CanJam. Just be careful of where you partake.

Those are indeed really interesting headphones at this price bracket.. Kevin from Dunu (who is indeed not too far) told me at SoCal he likely won't be able to make it due to a newborn at home.
I hope to publish a writeup on these in a few weeks. They are quite unique.
On the road to Dallas from Missouri! Super excited for another great one. I’ll be there for both days. The anticipation is building.
