CanJam Dallas Bloom Room Overview
Giddy up, y’all! CanJam Dallas is ONE DAY AWAY, and I’ve done my best to round up all the sweet gear waiting for you in the Bloom room. Of course, this is just a taste of what’s to come, but we don’t want to spoil your appetite – Dallas is chock-full of amazing food and even better audio gear. Without further ado, let’s get going!
Hotter Than Texas BBQ
To kick things off, let’s talk about the products that are fresh off the grill, like the
SP3000M, which we just got in stock a day before the show! Talk about timing. You’ll have the chance to check out Astell&Kern’s new, more pocket-friendly version of its flagship DAP, the
SP3000. And, of course, you’ll need some IEMs to pair with that DAP. What better match for the SP3000M than Astell&Kern’s newest collaboration IEM with Empire Ears, the
NOVUS? Talk about synergy! While you’re at it, check out ThieAudio’s newest IEM, the Origin. If you’ve grown accustomed to hearing amazing IEMs from ThieAudio, the
Origin won’t disappoint. We’ve also got the
EXT MKII, Vision Ears’ fresh take on the ever-popular EXT.
7th Acoustics Supernova, an IEM that’s impressed fans new and old with its lush tonality and sound presentation, is ready to take Dallas head on. It will undoubtedly live up to the high expectations it’s set, that I am sure of. And don’t miss the hottest collab IEM on the market, the
FatFreq Deuce. We sold out of our initial preorder stock fast, so it only made sense to bring a unit to show folks what all the hype is about.
Burson has a reputation for all-in-one units, and the
GT4 is no exception. Come see how easy it is to truly plug and play with the GT4 in the Bloom room, and take a few blissful moments with Burson’s newest DAC/amp. Last, but certainly not least, is
Noble Apollo – undoubtedly Bloom’s hottest wireless headphone – turning heads once again, just like it did at CanJam SoCal. Is your mouth watering yet? Well, buckle up, cowboy, that was only the beginning…
The Herd of IEMs
Yeehaw, friends – we’ve been stoked about a lot of IEM brands lately, and CanJam is the perfect place to show that off.
Expect offerings from beloved manufacturers like
Campfire,
Noble,
ThieAudio,
Moondrop, and many more. Check out the brand-new prototype from
DITA, the Mecca, which debuted at SoCal to great first impressions. If you saw the (incredibly well-produced and informative) Head-Fi preview video, you know that
Ice Lab made quite the impression, and there’s only one place in Dallas to experience what they have to offer.
Empire Ears is back with the
Triton, which made waves with its low end at SoCal, and you can also experience the highly regarded
Raven in person. While we mentioned
FatFreq’s Deuce earlier, we also brought their full lineup to really bring down the house with some incredible bass. The
Meze Alba, a major hit in the sub-$200 price bracket, needs no introduction – but if you haven’t heard it yet, now’s your chance. Don’t forget to explore
DUNU and
FlipEars’ lineup to make the most of the IEM selection in the Bloom room. Good luck, IEM traveler – the journey may be long, but it’s most definitely worth it.
DAPs Like It’s Nobody’s Business
As I write this, listening with my
DX180, I can’t help but get excited for DAP enthusiasts ready to try out what we’ve brought. Whether you’re looking for some tube goodness with the
SP3000T or
Cayin N3 Ultra, or something a bit more focused and analytical like the
DX260, we’ve got you covered in the portable source category. The
Kann Ultra’s powerful output, the
SR35’s excellent form factor and performance, and the many other DAPs we have waiting are just a testament to some of the outstanding releases we’ve seen in the past year. Get ready to experience it all – we’ve got plenty for you to check out.
Texas-Sized DACs and Amps
Oh boy, do we have a treat for you. Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready for some back-to-back listening sessions with the
Cayin Soul and Mass-Kobo 465? Honestly, I wasn’t even ready when we set them up for our
flagship amp shootout video. Whether you’re enjoying a desktop setup or exploring portable options like the
RU7,
DC-Elite,
DC07PRO, and others, it’s about to be an absolute paradise for source gear fans here in Dallas.
Headphones for Head Banging
What would CanJam be without the cans?! Just jam? While I love some jam on my toast, that’s not what I came all this way for. We’re ready for folks to take full advantage of the awesome DACs and amps we’ve brought with some of our favorite headphones from the office. Whether you’re comparing the
Suvara and
Susvara Unveiled, exploring Meze’s open and closed-back options in the
Liric 2 and
Empyrean 2, finding bliss in the closed-back
Dan Clark E3, or enjoying the
Final D7000 Pro’s deep low end, we don’t think you’ll be disappointed. We came ready to jam, and jam we shall. Woo-doggy!
Folks, I can’t lie – CanJam Dallas may have been my favorite show last year, which is saying a lot. Looking at the list of gear from Bloom and so many other dealers and manufacturers, I have a good feeling this year will live up to the high standards set from last year. I’m absolutely thrilled to be back in Dallas, and I can’t wait to share this show with y’all. See you soon, and as always, happy listening.
