Can these JVC FX500's on ebay be legit at under $40?

Yea after looking at the FX700's that are still around the $350 price point it doesn't make any sense that the 500's would be so cheap.

Just paid £69 on E-Bay UK for some legit FX-500s. Worth every penny and not that far away from the FX700s I once owned IMO.

At around $110 USD thats still not to bad of a deal.  Can I order from ebay UK if I live in the states.

Yes, but I should imagine you'll have to pay extra for shipping. The quoted price includes UK postage.
Sorry I must say, to avoid any confusion, that they are FX1000s. Exactly the same earphone, just the UK derivative.

Thats true but I wouldn't think shipping would be more than $10 or say $20 at the most for standard delivery but Ill go and check it out, and I knew they're called FX1000 is some countries.

Great, go for it. They're good value, just burn 'em in for a few hours. They sound meh out of the box.

So these benefit a lot from a good burn-in?  I'll probably let them play on my PC for like 50 straight hours then.

Since there are people viewing this thread already going to ask here, got no reply on the main fx500 thread anyway. Any one know which size the foam tips are that come with the fx500's?
