I'm considering purchasing a pair of DT990s along with an E9+E17, but have seen quite a few people mention that the 990s can be a bit "bright" for some people.
Was wondering if the Fiio E17 was capable of taking a bit of the bite out of the high end to make them less fatiguing? If I'm not mistaken it has a treble/bass control?
I'm after a "fun" pair of headphones which will be primarily used for gaming/watching movies, and to a lesser extent listening to music.
If the E17 can't tame the treble on the 990's is there something that can? (Looking for a hardware solution, not equalizers on my pc) or is there a better headphone alternative in the same price range of the 990s that doesn't sacrifice on it's bass?
