Thanks to this site, I was recommended the A900 and am extremely satisfied with  my cans for the past 4 or so years. However, the quality of the ear pad is deteriorating and causing black-like residue to make a mess around my ears.

Are there any recommended sitea where I can buy a new set of ear pads? Thanks!

I linked it to you, lol. I'm not a robot who says long numbers as greetings. Put that number into the search bar at eBay, you'll get pads specifically made for your A900.

I'm trying to see if there is a "specific" pad I would need to buy? If not, can you link me to some examples of the pads I can buy for my Audio-Technica 900. thanks

They are 3rd-party. They will be very much like the ones you have now, and identical in use, but possibly made a bit different.

Thanks! I just ordered a pair for my A900. Are those the same as the ones that came with my A900?

AudioCubes' sister site, AudioCubes2.com (I know, so inventive) sells every AudioTechnica pad known to man (and probably some that aren't). I've read that the W1000/W100 pads are a good choice for the A900, as they're better put together (they don't cost much more either); I say read because I do not have the A900, but I do have an HP that uses the W1000 pad. You could also try any other pad you want. Kuboten is supposed to sell the pads as well, but I've never checked up on that (they do have a neat video on YouTube about how to change the pads out on ATs, if you've never done it).
