Hi

I am looking to buy an ESS Sabre DAC that has the following:
1) USB Powered
2) Is based on the ES9018 chip (and not ES9023 chip)
3) Has 2xRCA outputs, and not just a 3.5mm headphone jack output
since it's going to be connected to amplifier speakers (Yamaha HS7)

Can anyone please recommend a product?

Thank you very much

Not that it helps much based on the price range, but just for the record the Audiolab 8300CD has the ESS9018 DAC and it sounds fantastic. It also has a USB DAC.

Thanks..

Why would people still use CDs today?

Why wouldn't we? People still use record albums and even cassettes, 8 track, and open reel tape.

With your budget and features, undoubtedly the topping d10. I have it and it is incredible as it sounds.
