I've actually built my own ribbon tweeters back when I was in the car audio scene, and had somewhat admirable results (although still not 100% listenable). I'm thinking it may be fun to play with making electrostatic headphone drivers. Does anyone know of a forum or site that may have in depth info about them? I have a feeling what I know abot HF drivers won't quite apply, even though the principles are the same.
