That's surprising to hear, I've been using LPGT with Solaris SE for quite some time and haven't had any hissing issues. I'm not talking about absolute silence, but there were no problems.I tried it before, and yes mojo got lots of hissing. You can try Cowon PL and P2, Luxury & Precision L4, w2, even P6 pro, all of them can provide complete dark background when pairing with Solaris. Btw, I've already tried Sony wm1a, wm1z (and mk2), AK sp1000/sp2000/kann cube, lotoo paw gold touch (and ti version), chord hugo 2 and dave, Hiby RS6, Shanling m6, and all of them failed on hissing problem.

This is where the hissing was more than with LPGT. In addition, the player itself is too tasteful. In my opinion, it sounds much worse. Thanks for the replies, I think I go with shanling m8.
I’ve just tried both ibasso 240 and shanling m8. I can confirm there is background noise on ibasso with solaris. I didn’t notice same on shanling. I’ve grabbed the shanling.

Any suggestions for 4.4 cable? I used to pay more for the cables but now I am willing to pay max $150 - $200. I am happy with the current sound signature so I wanted to buy super litz 4.4 just to avoid unwanted surprises in regards of sound signature with the new cable but looks like it is out of stock. Maybe effect audio vogue series?

I wrote this a few pages back. The ISN G4 is still my go-to for the Solaris. Very good cable for the current price on the Penon page https://penonaudio.com/isn-audio-g4.html?search=Isn g4Any suggestions for 4.4 cable? Hi. I had a hard time finding a good cable for my Solaris OG at a price that wasn't outrageous. Nothing improved the stock, especially in terms of balance. I've been with the ISN G4 for a couple of months and they have already become inseparable companions. The notes have more body, more weight, there is a better separation of instruments and even a little more detail. In case anyone is looking for the same thing as me. I'm giving my Solaris a second youth.
Check out Eletech as well. The Fortitude is OCC copper, priced at $199.Any suggestions for 4.4 cable? I used to pay more for the cables but now I am willing to pay max $150 - $200.
