Where in Canada are you located buddy? If you’re in the Greater Toronto Area, Bay Bloor Radio has the entire CFA CIEM line on demo.
The Equinox is definitely tuned to a V shape and the SM more of a W with the middle peak just a touch more “reserved” compared to the bass and treble. Definitely has more control and not as much bass presence as the Equinox. If you want something more “balanced/neutral” the Solstice would be a much better fit.

Unfortunately I'm far from a dealer. I demoed the Equinox by mail. Cost me probably a bit over $100 CAD. Not sure I'm sold on the Solstice, I tend to enjoy DD or planar IEMs more than multi BA. I do like me some sub bass, tend to prefer neutral, warm over harsh/bright but not into dark/bloated.
How is the fit and comfort of the universal supermoon iem?
It's great. I've never had any issues. The worst thing about the universal shell is the color.

Interesting... The universal Supermoon I tested @ Bloom Audio's table came in black!!The color is grey and the universal looks like this right?
The CFA demo units are black and the HK limited release unis are grey.
