they are only similar in driver config..and both crossover less but from the FR , they have a different tuning . so my guess , they will sound very differentdid you get an answer ?

Campfire Audio New IEM release

I know when Solaris first came out, there was a whole bunch of drama with unit variance. Has that been ironed out since the SE (and with that I'm guessing the 2020)?

Yes - from everything I've read the Ara is much more flat and neutral. It sounds like a departure from the typical Campfire sound (which I adore) to something more traditionally audiophile.they are only similar in driver config..and both crossover less but from the FR , they have a different tuning . so my guess , they will sound very different

u12t vs. Ara will be a very interesting comparison.
It doesn't seem like the U12t "neutral" is the as Ara "neutral," just from descriptions.u12t vs. Ara will be a very interesting comparison.

No but the Ara seems closer to u12t than any of Campfire's other IEMs. u12t vs. Solaris gets thrown around a lot but it's not really a fair comparison as they're fundamentally different IEMs.

Has there been anyone who has purchased and received the Andro 2020 that has posted any opinions on the differences between them and the OG Andro? I have them on order as well as a Solaris 2020 but was just curious if anyone actually has them yet? I have seen lots of posts about the Solaris 2020 but none about the Andro 2020.

I read a review that stated there really isn't any differences in sound between the original and 2020 Andromeda, but that is one reviewer's opinion though.

Initial impressions seems to suggest that Andro 20 has a slightly better resolution and more cohesiveness than the original.

All I got from the review posted a couple pages back THL is that the mids are a little lifted by a few dB and lower treble seems a tad boosted. Sounds oddly similar to Andro Stainless Steel.

The U12T have a 5-10db boost in bass whereas the Ara have a fairly flat bass.
I'm curious to hear more impressions about the Ara. I suspect many people will find they don't have sufficient bass.

Here we go!! Impressions soon I'm assuming?Andromeda OG, Andromeda 2020, and ARA all have relatively the same size/shape/fit.
Solaris 2020, Andro 2020, and ARA, side by side.
ARA, Andro 2020, Solaris 2020, Solaris OG, and Andro OG
Out of all the Andromeda shell anesthetics, the Ara is my favorite. Unfortunately, neutral isn't really my style of tuning.
