Any more convenient place to buy spiral dots? I'm only finding options from japan on ebay and amazon, with long shipping times.

FWIW, I just ordered some spiral dots from a japanese seller on Amazon. I received my order in 1 week. I know it gives you a ridiculous shipping estimate but it didn't actually take that long. They shipped it via airmail and not by boat.

Apparently so. My man @alpha421 at Triton Audio Cables hooked me up. I also had a Tinsel cable re-terminated as 2.5 balanced. Now I've got one 3.5mm Litz, one 2.5mm Litz, and one 2.5mm Tinsel.

Keep it up the cable collection!

nmatheis How would you compare the sound of the Nova to the Nuforce HEM8, as they are the same price? Have an HEM8 coming, so wondering how they stack up against each other? Enjoying the fullness of the Nova so far - it's definitely not the sort of thickness you direct from a 2BA setup.

I'm letting Shotgunshane borrow my HEM8 right now, so no direct comparisons are possible at the moment. Sorry :frowning2:

No worries - the HEM8 should be arriving next week with any luck so will hopefully be able to do some proper listening to both when I'm trying to write up my thoughts on the Nova. Too many bits of gear, too few ears at the moment...

The Novas actually caused me to put my newly acquired pair of Westone UMPro50 up for sale - just couldn't get the same enjoyment out of a "high end" 5 driver iem than the Campfires or the FLC8s I have been alternating at the moment.
