Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

Quick question guys: how do you safely clean the ear wax on the Andromeda Gold grille?

I used a Q-tip and the provided brush/metal loop tool but there's still some left I can't remove.

Thanks for any tip you guys can provide :)

If Campfire read this, something tells me that MW10 could be as stock version of Andro in future as I do not know 2020v2 hehe. Would be shame if not, evidently many love as best Andro tunning.

Yeah, or at the very the least, they could make a special run of them for B-Stock seeing how fast the Andro Golds sold. Might not be an option due to some sort of agreement with Mixwave. Perhaps @KB can chime in so our wallets can prepare? Haha.

I purchased my AG practically the second the Golds went live and was shocked that they were still out there for a few more days. I was expecting the supply to be snapped up in an hour or so.
The Andromeda Gold is every bit as good as expected BTW. The soundstage the best I've ever heard on an IEM (not counting the LCDi4).

Same! I was just checking for fun and was equally shocked, one of the best no regrets impulse buys I have ever made.

I had purchased a bunch of 20% off Headphones.com gift cards when they offered that is early November with the thought of purchasing the Andro 2020 anticipating they might be on special or have open box for Black Friday. When I saw that Campfire was offering the AG for $900, I had to change my plan. I have not been able to find any physical flaws with my AG b-stock other than not being numbered.

I ended up using the gift cards for the 64Audio U12t at their discounted price ($1600 plus the 20% off with the gift cards). Still not sure which one of the two I like better. They're both really awesome.

Good deal there. I was told from headphones.com you couldn’t stack the gift cards with already reduced prices so I held off. Bummer.

Mine doesn't have any physical imperfections either, outside of maybe one tiny white spec of no paint between both shells. I was even more shocked when I got them in hand as a basic, "wait, why are these b stock?" moment.

That's a heck of a lot of headphones.com giftcards. Taron and his team are awesome, they're one of our distributors.

The 20% offer I got was via text and didn't say anything about exclusions. However I did notice when they later offered the 15% off gift cards, there was a disclaimer that purchases of Campfire Audio and Astell & Kern products were excluded.

I bought hybrid iems(Solaris 2020 and Tia Trio) over the summer. They sounded good but I wasn't overly impressed with either soundstage overall. AG caught me off guard right away with how effortless its soundstage plays with all genres. The center image is strong making vocal clarity stand out while balancing impactful midbass. If you told me this was an all ba iem, based on my experience, I'd tell you no way. There has to be a dd in there for how that bass hits. It does all this without an ounce of dryness, ba timbre, or general harshness.

For those rolling with the Android Golds, I‘ve been using Azla SednaEarfit Xelastec tips for about four months now. And I have to say they step up the isolation over my previous favorites (Spiral Dots). Definitely don’t recommend walking around on the streets with these in! Better to sit back, close your eyes and get lost in the music...

Just be aware they run a little large - I normally use M tips, but went with MS and the f it is perfect. Also, for insertion, I moisten the tip a little from my lips...I know it sounds a little gross, but it makes a big difference getting the IEM deeper into my ear.

Have you tried these?
Same effect for me but for home listening the Spiral Dots are definitely more comfortable, barely noticeable without sound compromise but not as isolating as the Symbios.

Hmm, reading more about your new tips, they are discussed as some evolution after foam and silicone, maybe worth a try...
