Sorry,I have not other CM.But some of my friends have. One said the EM is more natural and comfortable than UE11.Another boy compared EM and 2X-S,he thought the 2X-S is too harsh! They have their own Ear Monitors.

I havn't yet ventured into custom IEMs but the market and choice is pretty huge! Never knew Future Sonics offered customs until recently.

I was so tempted to purchase these but I was afraid of the isolation. How well do these isolate for you?

Bit of nail polish sorts out most seal issues, but next time i have impressions i'll have my jaw open very wide, you're first pair teaches you what the impressions should be done like.

yeah, i had fit issues too but my ears move a lot: i have a very expressive face. i think one of my moulds may have bent in the trip to the usa as my left ear's phone does not sit flush with my ear. however, when i suss out the fit issues, i am most most most in love with these - simply stunning.

but universals have one big advantage: with foamies, you can have them in for any activity and your ear shape changing form eating, talking screaming etc will not make them lose seal. my outer ear and inner ear change so much all the time that customs are only really good when i am only listening or talking just a bit. smile: bye bye.
