why not green for the lantern tho?

Thanx direcow; anyway I went back to the place where my impressions were done & the person told me whoever told me 100% isolation from customs is a fallacy; & hearing ambient noises is normal.

I wanted green, but after pooling the feedback from my friend, the common opinion was:

those who know green lantern: tink its very cliche
those who dunno GL: tink that particular shade of green is ugly
those who dunno GL and sees that my left side is gonna be red: tinks red and green look like traffic light

Next u r gonna ask me: why not yellow for the other side? Erm, I have a preference for clear red for the monitor shell & hence picked red color for e logo to "match".

In short, I retro-fitted the 2 logos to reflect my personal preference. & no, my "right" side is NOT "powered by the emotion of love"! Haha!

JT31's customs are probably my favorite ones ever. Logo looks burned on like a white ink tattoo, and the shell matches his skin tone. Very cool.

Here's my new C2s(upgraded from Alien Ears 1):

I'm very happy with them, and would consider selling my SR-225s now since I don't feel like anything is on while I wear them. But I'm be unaware of what's going on in the house. Plan on trying to get the UE cables with a mic, or some UE cables because I hear that people think it helps bring out the highs. Only thing I regret is that I didn't snag a pair of livewires(after cashback mine cost me about $260ish), since they're local and have the Grado sound I love.

Seeing all the custom artwork makes me want to retrofit mine!

OT: what's a "white ink" tattoo?

I like his too...the chinese character looks very zen, but I dunno why he wants it to say "big" in chinese?

Your photo(& customs) look lovely. May I know what did u specify to get that color? Did u just say clear/transparent black?

^I just asked for translucent black. All my gear is black(carabiner, alarm remote, flash drive, watch bands, wallet, eyeglasses, mobile) so I wanted it to match.

White ink tattoos are just that. Tattoos in white ink such as this:

Not exactly. To begin with, UE has been known to charged rather unreasonable prices for their products. I guess if u want it, then you gotta pay for it.

I was quoted $150 for my artwork.

A POUCH!!! WHY DIDN'T I THINK THAT!

lol, I been thinking of ways for making my Portable set look less suspicious. xD

I have too many people make me bom jokes; and the jokes do bother me. Since the jokes usually stem up as first impressions. Last thing I need is for some senior citizen to come around the corner and freak out when I pull my set out of my pocket to skip a song. xD
Though I like my amp-to-Ipod velcro-stickers. I can probably cut a hole in the pouch for my velcro sticker; instead of relying on a rubber band.

Ah thanks. Looks like the gold and silver beads custom artwork in the UE gallery is gonna be above $100. Damn.

Jeez...after already paying such a premium price, it seems like $100~$150 is a bit steep for artwork on their own products.
