the sleek audio sa6 i owned for a bit and liked the fast punchy sound but hated the construction quality which was very shy its price mark. for 299$ usd plus graphix, are they actually sturdy? i know the cable is already a fragile unit but the custom units itself: does the cable connector and the unit itself still have give like the sa6? has anyone broken the inner connection? they are so small and thin that I am worried.

i use them primarily for travel from job to job and then when bicycling. my ck10 are real troopers but i am not optimistic about the sleek though i know i want to go custom.

The problems are meant to have been fixed, it was a previous supplier of cables now they have a better one and are trying to replace all of the inferior cables through their suppliers.

My sleek customs are en route pics will be up asap.

I would assume that sleek SA6 drivers built into an acrylic shell would be far sturdier than a stock SA6. The cables ahve ahd problems but as I did not have mine for very long, I had no problems. But I have read that the cables have been upgraded.

Post some Pics as soon as you get them

The silicone shell of the Sleek customs has a really nice finished and feels much sturdier than the normal SA6s. The assembly quality is really good, the connector doesn't give way. Compared to the LiveWires the quality and finish of the Sleek customs are way better.

Check out the words under the skull above. No-one can write that small.

Does that mean the customs are finished first, then he transfer the top plate design over?

i am more worried about flex between the cable socket and connector. the old coaxial flexed heaps within the housing and i would worry especially that the internal female plug would have her stamen bend or broken.

i am having a slight problem: getting them into canada may be difficult if not impossible at the moment. i am not willing to pay another up to 50% customs, tax and handling fees so i may wait till i get to korea and do it then.
