My tap isn't the best. Just wondering because you guys seem to decalcify your machines often.

The machine has a setting for water hardness which determines how many cups till a decalcification is required and it lights up an indicator. I don't want to fight the feeling so I comply.

Went back to smaller bottles. Things are more manageable now. I don't need to worry about the soda going flat. I just stick one in the freezer for awhile each day.
 
  The required voltage might burn the coffee beans.

 
haha. I read a story of someone building an electrostatic amp and having something go wrong, resulting in a bolt of electricity that burnt through metal! But they're safe as long as you don't take them apart and stick your fingers in there.
