Just curious I ordered one of these and also the Funk Amp as I run both speakers and use headphones, the funk was the deluxe model, also I thought the Playmate 2 came with a remote?

I did not see any remote in the package that I got. I still have it with me and just checked it and there's really no remote.

The remote is an additional accessory, which is not included in the basic package.

Thank you! I just saw in very tiny writing that remote is optional or if you order the deluxe model with different OpAmps..

Hi guys and thanks for all the reviews and impressions,
I was wondering if anyone compared Playmate 2 to Jotunheim 2 since they're in the same price range (if you configure Jot with DAC). How do these compare?

Updated impressions. Installed the V6 Vivid opamps on the I/V stage and these just took the Playmate 2 to another level. Took away the graininess, misgivings, and nitpicks of the stock configuration all the while giving it proper imaging (albeit a bit narrower but better phantom center). Details are squeezed out and the more musical signature is much appreciated. This is the way it's meant to be heard, worth the extra. I wonder now if there's a drastic change if replacing the LP stage single opamps though the duals already gave it a very noticeable upgrade.

Would like to thank @SS-Audio , Bhav and @d m41n man for considering me with this impressions tour in our local area despite my handful of gears starting out but have been listening within the hobby for quite some time already. I appreciate the Burson Audio experience, living up to its name.
