Is anyone bringing a turntable? I would love hear some vinyl at the meet! Also does anyone mind if my mate comes to the meet? He doesn't have any gear to bring but he is a bit of a tech head and appreciates hi-fi gear. As mentioned earlier I will be bringing my hd650 headphones (by the way it was my ears that were playing up, but they're all good now!) my burson audio ha-160d (dac/pre amp/head amp), m2tech hiface, SAA equinox cable and my laptop which I use for transport with Foobar/wasapi. I will also be bringing some cd's. My music taste is; prog rock and folk. I'm new to jazz but am finding I like it more and more as I listen to it; want to do the same with classical!

And for those indicating amp/DAC combos, i assume you'll be bringing a source (i.e. laptop or cdp) of sorts eh?

Yes, laptop as transport for me.
 
Crumpler, do you own a NuForce HDP and will you be bringing it along to the Meet? Very keen to hear one.

Sorry dude! Sold my HDP a while ago and am currently without a dynamic amp. Will keep a keen eye on the FS forum and might just pick a reasonably price amp up before the meet.

I've never heard a pair of LCD-2's yet, so can you let us audition them at the Meet first, then make an offer if we like them?

i'm interested, but would like to try with my rig at the meet first unless someone else buys them first. i only use a desktop mac as source, but will have my iriver for optical out if i dont bring the mac. all depends on transport
