Break-up tunes

A new one...

It does not suffice for you to say I am a sweet girl
Or to say you hate to see me sad because of you
It does not suffice to merely lie beside each other
As those who love each other do

I picture you rising up in the morning
Stretching out on your boundless bed
Beating a clear path to the shower
Scouring yourself red

The tap of hangers swaying in the closet
Unburdened hooks and empty drawers
And everywhere I tried to love you
Is yours again and only yours

I felt like bumping this thread for the sake of this song. It is both relevant to the the topic and can put me in a good mood every time I hear it.

Three ultimate break-up songs of all time:

"Medicine Bottle" by Red House Painters

"No distance left to run" by Blur

"Boys Don't Cry" by The Cure

If you're angry, I'd say Smashing Pumpkins' "screw You (An Ode to No One)"

If you miss her, I'd say Stabbing Westward's "Waking Up Beside You"

If you want some good calm, dark music, I'd say Arcana's "Outside Your World"

Also, The Cure's "The Same Deep Water as You" is a great one, as is Trespassers William's "Different Stars" and Unter Null's "Moving On"
