I already ordered from the UK site unfortunately, though I suppose that could be canceled.   I got the blue and the red cases. Still not my ideal case, but I can't abide by the black case it ships with. If you have ideas I am happy to play along...

Indeed.
I reckons roughly the battery on my AK100II can last for 11-12 hours, on shuffle mode playing mix of Flac, hi-res Flac and DSD, with screen off and volume around 50.

 
 

12 hours 10 minutes and still playing at 1% mostly flac,quite a bit of hirez and installed DSD,that's pretty good.

 
 

  Over 9hrs on shuffle and still at 25% with my AK100ii thats more than I got with the Sony F886!!

 
 

It's pretty amazing, that's what it is. And for those who need more, you can always pack a standard USB battery pack. Coming from the DX100 which will go for 6-7 hours on a charge and then require a specific 12V charger, I can't wait!

Have any of you got the same sort of battery life using the optical output on the device, as I am not happy with the amount of life I get with my ZX1 when using the digital out adapter.
 
I presume using the optical has no effect on battery life compared to IEMs etc?

I really like the one that came with the AK100ii, but I want one that can be clipped to a belt. I don't think they make them so I am going to buy one and do some DIY and turn it into a belt holster case.

I know it's boring as hell, but all I want for my 120ii is a black, smooth leather case like I had for my AK100.  I remember I had to order that from a Korean seller on eBay, and it wasn't cheap.

For fun today I figured I'd check out the lyrics function of my AK100II, and entered lyrics in JRiver for a new album I'd just bought (yes, in the "lyrics" tag), and copied it over.  No lyrics on the player.  Does anyone know how to make that work?

I just bought an Ak100 II  and the sound is fantastic but I have found some issues with the screen.
I have a ray of light all along the left side that you could see on the following pictures only on some menu" as the setting,  the dac  and the brightless option.
But with my playing menu on the black pictures of the album no problem at all (black is absolutely black)
So I don't know if it s a problem and if some owners have met this little concern.

I hesitate a lot to return it for repair or to change (I bought it new only ten days).
