mine still connects to my sony z1 but not my meizu,it also connect to the new pioneer dap.

Thanks for your comment and input..I guess they change something that broke compatibility with some phones.

For standard 16/44 FLAC files, it's quite responsive. But when I play 24/192, there is quite a bit of lag.

I just tried with mine.  On my 120ll, when I select Artist>Album and then select a song, it takes a second or less after I touch the song title on the touch screen for the song title and album art to show up and the song to begin. If I then touch the next song button on-screen, it's less than a second.  I'm not seeing a lot of difference between FLAC 24/192 and FLAC 16/44.

My album art is 95% embedded and, if not, is 500x500.  My internal is 3/4s full, my 200 microcard is less than 100gb.  I tried this using songs on both internal and card, both 16 and 24 bits.  Seemed the same to me.

Maybe if your card and/or internal are really full, or if you have shoved a kajillion mp3s on there, it might affect times.  Or it could be album art or tagging, if the lag seems really slow.

It's a bit slow to turn on and turn off.  But then it has the very cool logo shifting around on the screen while it does so.

...and while that happens you can always uncoil and plug in your IEM. So the booting time was never an issue for me.

I really think the start up time on the 100ii is longer than the 120ii, anyone else feel the same way?

Yes

You mean from pressing the power button?  Takes 12-15+ seconds for it to fully boot up.

The 100ii is more like 20-25s

Yeah, I haven't actually timed it, just seems longer over the 120ii I was using for months.

Does the 120ii have a more powerful processor?
If so, that would explain it and help justify the price difference.

I mean where can we order this type of cable? Is it possible on ebay?

That's not what you asked, but the answer was there if you followed my link and yes suitable cables can be found on eBay.

The answer to that was in my link, by following the obvious heading...

It is not the only option and I'm still not sure whether to trust a company that has gold-plated optical cables
