They should if they are new. It is standard.

Just a little update...

There was a listing for the same exact headphones on Ebay from a different seller, with a buy-it-now price of $175. How was someone silly enough to buy it at that price when there was another listing going for $75? Sometimes I just don't understand...

I'm kinda curious about the $175 buyer too. Could anyone tell me what the 770's have been going for on ebay previously to this auction? If I can buy 3 at $75 and sell each for $150, I can fund my whole planned setup(Grado Allessandro MS1, DT770, cha47)

I don't think you will be able to re-sell them for $150.
You can buy them from Meier audio for almost that same price.

And now that people know about this source of DT770s, why would they pay you more than $75, when they could get the same phones from them for $75?

You could possibly sell them to someone who is ignorant of eBay and Head-Fi.
But if they are, then they may also be ignorant of the differences between Beyer DT770s and the phones that came with their pcdp.

THANKS!!! I bought two pair. Also, I saw where somebody paid $175 as well. He/she probably didnt see the sale. When I tried the headphone link I couldnt get the beyers to come up. Only the head-fi link worked.

I e-mailed him a few times with questions and for payment instructions.
He said I could call to pay or pay through paypal.
I chose to use paypal.

It's been pretty easy to deal with him, but I haven't gotten my phones yet.
So we will see.
I ordered on Friday at noon.

The auction's over.

Someone stepped in with 16 seconds left and bought 10 of the 15. The final price was $80. Luckily, I bid high so I got one of the remaining five pairs for $80. Interested to see what they look like when they arrive.

I didn't really need them (who ever does, eh?), but I guess this was too good to pass up. Thanks akar for the tip.

Hahah, someone bid for 10 within the closing seconds of the auction ending and knocked out a bunch of people. I just bit the bullet and bought direct for $87, just after the end of the auction.

I got in on this for $80 only because I was the first to bid 80. Some ******* from CoralAudio bid for 10 with less than a minute left. Sorry to all those who missed out on this, esp maddog(who I saw in 5 different places on the internet looking to buy them in the same places I did).
Is there still stock? Did anyone call to ask how many the guy had?

I guess it could have been worse--the CoralAudio guy could have tried to buy all 15.

I always expect those types of things to happen. It surprises me when they don't. . . .
