Well, it should be better than the P7W since it is going to cost alot more.

I think are going into the right direction with custom calibration to people their ears (i didn’t finish the calibration with Aventho because it took too long, but I liked the idea from what I saw)

I'm worried about my Denon AHD 7100 falling apart soon, as I've been using it out and about for four years now.

I can get a brand new in box P7 for 315 USD from a reputable local dealer. Are they worth it for a backup pair?

Yes, the P7W is quite a nice headphone.

When I compared the wireless and cable version, I found the wireless bass more stronger to my ears. Also, the volume seemed to go higher on the wireless when used with an iPhone. Very happy with my P7W.

Worth checking out the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X Studio Monitor if they still exist.

Just found out it's not the wireless version. Still worth it? I don't know if there are any major differences between the two models other than the wireless factor.
I think both versions are quite similar, but there will be some differences as noted with the wireless version as the amp and DAC processing onboard the P7W influences the sound signature. If you could find the wireless version for a reasonable difference, personally I would go that route, but I very much value wireless so your sensibilities may differ from mine.

Internal sounds (power on/off, connection) stopped working on mine. Any one encountered this before? Any way to fix?
I ran into the exact same problem! Luckily this is a setting you can switch on and off -> It is possible to toggle the audio cues on and off by press and releasing ‘Play/Pause’ and ‘+’.
