The better comparison would be with the upcoming Amiron wireless because it's overear
Yes, the P7W is quite a nice headphone.I'm worried about my Denon AHD 7100 falling apart soon, as I've been using it out and about for four years now.
I can get a brand new in box P7 for 315 USD from a reputable local dealer. Are they worth it for a backup pair?
Just found out it's not the wireless version. Still worth it? I don't know if there are any major differences between the two models other than the wireless factor.Yes, the P7W is quite a nice headphone.
I think both versions are quite similar, but there will be some differences as noted with the wireless version as the amp and DAC processing onboard the P7W influences the sound signature. If you could find the wireless version for a reasonable difference, personally I would go that route, but I very much value wireless so your sensibilities may differ from mine.Just found out it's not the wireless version. I ran into the exact same problem! Luckily this is a setting you can switch on and off -> It is possible to toggle the audio cues on and off by press and releasing ‘Play/Pause’ and ‘+’.Internal sounds (power on/off, connection) stopped working on mine. Any one encountered this before? Any way to fix?
