I bet my money that those cars start to fall apart in a week. How are those poor kids going to feel about that?? That guy who had a 40" lcd in his VW micro van. I'm sure the tv end up in his living room the next day. Same for those numerous xboxes on that car made out of need for speed underground 2.

I'm relatively new to head-fi, but the constant Triport bashing really is starting to annoy me a tad bit.
First off, headphone bashing is fine, but focusing really hard on one specific pair of headphones seems a bit much to me. It almost seems that the bashing is mostly directed at the fact Bose is a mainstream audio product instead of the highly regarded makes that get rave reviews around here. Not to say this bashing is unjustified; it's just a bit excessive.
Second off, the Triports, either in dedicated threads or in jokes made on other threads, seems to be getting more attention than the makes and models it is purported to be inferior to. Though none of the feedback on the Triports is ever good around here, the fact it gets a deluge of feedback seems, to me, counterproductive toward reducing the reputation of the brand and model.
Yes, it's a waste of money. Yes, it breaks easily. Let's not buy it and not recommend it, and furthermore, if it's really not worth the time to listen to, let's not keep on talking about it!
