So I've had the Cayin RU-6 for a while now and like it a lot. It matches up really well with my Blur 266R PK32. I use the NOS setting and low gain. High gain sounds more forward (sharper leading edge transients) and a bit rougher in comparison. Oversampling, likewise, is more forward although the bass is tighter.

This holds true using the RU-6 with my other low impedance earbuds like the Shozy BK. However the RU-6 does drive high impedance buds like the Yinman 600 but those definitely require high gain.

The Hidizs S9 Pro is comparable to the RU-6 in oversampled, high gain mode and works best with the more laid back Shozy BK, IMHO, although it works well with the Blur also.

I have just reached out to Wong for a pair of Blur's. I generally like EDM/hip hop so bass presence is key. I will be catching up on this thread this week on model preferences but Blur lovers out there, which model would you all recommend for my tastes?
Currently speaking with Wong, definitely going 266R/4.4 rhodium. trying to decide on 150 vs 300.

any Wraith owners looking to sell?

Hope you're able to find a pair, the PK Wraith is definitely a permanent piece in my collection.

Wong did say he has a few pk150 drivers left but was not sure of housing availability. I might have to get both the mx150 and pk150 if he is able to make it work... create a Wraith-equivalent more or less.

Sounds great, even Wraith has not a signature for my liking but will looks outstanding for sure.
Wong is the man no doubt.

Would be great to see some pictures of this and maybe a graph. @qua2k I hope you enjoy!

The original Wraith is standing the test of time for me. Very solid tuning indeed.

Next he will be working on the pk150 White Wraith and a few new pouches. He did say he just started a new job after 3 years rested so things are taking a bit longer than anticipated, which is no issue for me.. just builds the anticipation :)

I am looking for a regular Wraith in 4.4. I would love to own one and see it's differences once the White is in hands. Please reach out if you would like to let go to a good home!

Anyone else find Blur’s a bit too aggressive? Mine is tuned warm but it’s still fatiguing and overwhelming. The bass is good but it’s just too bright for me. Anyone else finding this the case or just me?
hi bro, yeah, they were a bit aggressive compared to all my other gears at first, especially if you are using a bright source. IMO, it helps if you have a more analogue-ish/ warmer source. Having found the right pairing, I still reach for my blurs more than any of my other gears/buds due to its transparency and live-like signature.

May I ask what model you have? If ever you decide to get rid of them let me know, maybe I can help with that. :o2smile:
