Hakan, you are providing us with great information, I for one want to give you a very high compliment. With that said, on the Sony mdr 10rbt, I was referring to the price I paid for them, which was $149.95. For that price, imo, they are a great sounding headphones.

On the Bluedios, that is way too many hoops to go through for something that is supposed to be there in the first place.

So I decided to return them, I've been wasting way too much time on this and really don't have any more to spare. I'll be selling the SPI and cable on eBay or something, or if you want to purchase it then feel free to PM me.

Ha, no thanks. I returned mine too. I just ordered the Harman Kardon BT headphones refurbished for $97 free shipping. They have the apt-X codec. I am 100% sure thi will be a better deal than the Bluedios.

Man I was looking for a great pair of head phones since I own a nexus 5 and there a problem with the auxiliary. I got so sold on the bluedios.. I was hyped on all the positive reviews. They arrived today and honestly I've never felt so ripped off and disappointed. I wish I would of read all 9 pages and not just the first one on this thread, I would of clearly just steered away.

My Bluedio R+ model arrived yesterday and its true, this phones have really a very loud low level, too loud for me. I'm not a headbanger...
But no problem, I turned the levels on my Smartphone EQ down and its working very good now. Mids and highs are present as well and for this little money this phones are an extraordinary excellent buy. Monster Beats compared in bass precision and volume capability vs. distortion, they dont worth the dollars at all.

Hi guys n gals.

I have read some negative discussions regarding these headphones whilst being wired.
I would love to purchase a set and would mostly be used whilst connected to my Sony AV Receiver watching films and concerts.
will the amp power them enough to equal the bluetooth.

Cheers
Jed.

I have read some negative discussions regarding these headphones whilst being wired.

My experience was different. I found that the R+ model in the Bluetooth mode have a really exaggerated sound because of the EQ that cant be turned off to flat mode, and after some minutes its sounds more and more unpleasant and uncomfortable, independetly of the volume.

In wired mode seems that this EQ is not switched on, so I prefer to use this phones wired only. By the way, the integrated amp is always working, because its not possible to use the device wired, but with empty battery.
will the amp power them enough to equal the bluetooth.

The built-in amp boosts the bass volume into bombastic high levels with low distortion effects in comparison with other "Brand" phones.
But I cant stand the phones more than 5-10 seconds in this highest volume level. Its really damaging your ears.

Hey guys, just got my  Bluedio r+ yesterday, so far I love em!
 A few questions though:

Cant get NPC to work with my Note 3, it just says unable to connect. Is that the same as apcx, that was disabled?

I also have a Samsung Sereis 7 Slate and Id like to pair them with both. Right now its a pain in the butt, If I have them paired to the phone and want to pair it with the Slate, I have to hold the MF button for 4 sec, click the BT icon in win8, choose "add or show BT device", click remove device on the R+, go back to win desktop, click the BT device again, and add device again, then click the R+ and pair them. after that  I have to go in to the audio menu and check the R+ as the sert device device. Is there a specific procedure Im missing here? Its seems ridiculously complicated.

Cheers Tim

Tim,

I had the same experience with my Note 3 and ended up just linking the two through Bluetooth.  That connection seems to work pretty well but I do notice occasional split-second dropouts every few minutes.  I have the phone sitting upright in a cradle not more than a couple feet from me as I work on the computer so don't know if if's an RF problem or just glitches as the phone's multitasking.  Anyway, I love the headphones and they're the first pair I've EVER owned that had an abundance of bass without me holding them a certain way on my head.

Scott, I have actually gotten it to work, but its just faster using BT. I use them with my Computer, and its a pain to always have to switch of headphones to repair it with either unit. The instruction recommend that you press the middle button twice whislt it is in pairing mode (blue/red flashes) to clear the cache, then turn them off and THEN do the NCP. That works.

Regarding the audio cut out, i usually get it when Ive received or viewed an email, ie when the phone has received something. I usually have to turn off and restart the BT on the phone, that solves the problem until I have to read the next email! Apart from that  and sweaty ears I love em. I did paint them black though, those mirrors on the side and the huge blinking light is not a look for me, hehe. Have you tried the Adapt sound settings? I have but I cant get it to work, I can do the test fine, but then it says adapt sound is only for chorded phones, which annoys me.

Actually, right after posting this, I tried the NFC again after this time shutting off Bluetooth to begin and it actually worked.  However, I find it easier to just turn the phones on with the power switch when I come in to work in the morning since I leave BT turned on for other things.  I haven't messed with any of the other features and I've found that the Note 3's built-in equalizer works well enough for me.  The lab I work in has a pretty high ambient noise environment, so a lot of the subtleties besides the basic bass/treble cut/boost would be lost to me.

Glad to see you all got the Bluedios working..

On the Note 3, where is that equalizer, what app is it call, what group do I find it under?

Thanks

Edit, I think I see where Bluedio has STOPPED advertising that these units have aptx.. IMO, that is good, a buyer now will know that these units do NOT have aptx, which to some buyers is a deal-breaker.

Go into the stock music player and play a song. In the upper right corner tap on the speaker. At the bottom of the volume slider is the equalizer button. Tap on it and from there you can load presets or go to the advanced tab for a 7-band slider array. There are a handful of other effects you can select if you are plugged in through a cable but not sure why they won't work through Bluetooth.

I registered my self only to ask the audience if they experience the below:

I am on the road listening to some music over Bluetooth. The battery drains so headphones are switched off. I then plug them with the audio cable and start listening via the cable but after some time (20-30 mins) the headphones are stopping completely to operate (even via the cable).

I have tested as well the below:
Charged the headset and only used them over the cable. After 3-4 days the headphones have no battery left.

Bottomline. When headphones are switched off but utilized over the audio cable should they or should not consume battery?
On my examples it seems it does but I might have done something wrong or I should configure something first.

Please advice.
Thanks

btw....amazing headphones especially after the mod!!!
