Most budget CHIFI have to save money somewhere, and accessories are the common area they cut costs at? Well for us in this hobby I don't really mind as we can cable or tiproll later on, but yeah the laymen consumers might just use whatever is packed in the box, and if the fit is meh, the sound goes downhill with suboptimal fit.
I thought most Westerners with bigger ears had fit problems due to the original BLON BL-03's too short nozzles. The BL-03's stock tips were so so (I read newer batches had better fitting tips, but can't confirm as mine was of an earlier batch). And the stock cable fit was +/- for some folks, those that had issues with it were cause the earhooks were too stiff and tended to pull the IEM shell out of the ears, but most had an issue with the short nozzle more than the cable.
