hmm... my stock 770's don't look so hot anymore... I thought they looked sexy with the black leather pads so they were all black, but just not doing it for me anymore... thanks for ruining it! now I've gotta save up my pennies... and lots of up at that!

I know. But I like this set-up as well. I orderd the Black Gel pads today. Not sure how tho change them though.

I agree. My leather pads are a hit with my DBs...even though mine aren't black, they sound better with leather to me.

1) This was a deal 18 order
2) I will comment on SQ after burn-in
3) Not sure about the weight comparison. Never tried the stock. But ebony wood compares to plastic as .... : .....?
