Beyerdynamic Xelento!

Hi guys..

Did anyone find a way to convert their Xelento or T8ie to bluetooth?

The only solution I have seen so far is the Sony MUC-M2BT1 or to ask if Beyerdynamic will sell the Xelento bluetooth cable separetely.

P.S I love the sound of my T8Mk2 but I want to upgrade it to bluetooth. If it's too much of a hassle, I guess I will just keep it wired and get a Sony W1-1000x or the Sennheiser MTWs. But the bass volume on the T8 is so amazing that these don't even come close. And in modern pop music, that deep mid/subbass is what matters.

Thanks, but it's not the fact that I don't have a good source. It's the fact that I want to go wireless. I have a portable DAC and a Chord Mojo but I find it inconvenient to have it in my pocket every day when commuting to work. Hence, I'm looking for a wireless solution.

Just get an ES100.

I have two of the stock cable, got it direct from BD agent, at a fraction of the selling price, they quoted me the wrong price.

I recently bought the Shure RMCE-BT2 Bluetooth cable to use with my SE846. I tried it briefly with the Xelento as well and my initial impression is that I prefer it to the Xelento Wireless cable. The Shure cable has better reception (the Beyer cable intermittently cuts out when I'm walking with my iPhone X in my pocket) and I prefer the actual cable itself and the wire cable guide around the ears. In terms of sound quality, I didn't notice an immediate difference, though it seems the Shure cable does have more power. The Beyer cable has the MIY/Mimi app to adjust the frequency response based on hearing tests, but I haven't found it to be very useful.

BD authorized agent is only 15 minute away from where I live in Hong Kong, in some countries you may need to email BD.

Can't speak for others but I've enjoyed Symbio W peels, SpiralDots and AET07a's.

For me the stock XL size tips work best, or at least, are the most comfortable, followed by spinfit cp100 M. Tried spiral dot ML size and that works OK, but not as comfortable. Did symbio W, but couldn't get a good fit/seal with those.

Also check out the Shanling M0. It's not only a tiny LDAC BT receiver - it's also a full-blown DAP. And it costs less than many dedicated BT receivers.
