Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Gen out now

Yeah in terms of technicalities and resolving ability the T1.3 is above the DT 1990. The tuning isn't for everyone, but I thought the T1.3 was the most resolving of the Tesla Beyers and is a large reason it won out over the T1.2, DT 1990, and Amiron Home for me.

In terms of technical ability I view it as this.

T1.3 => T1.2 -> DT 1990 => Amiron Home
T1.2 > T1.3 > DT 1990 for me.

with good amp/.and source the T1.2 was quite well above the T1.3 .. in every aspect.

Picked up a shorter balanced cable from Open Heart. Love it.
I will never understand why they send out headphones with bs cables.
Where can I pick up a set of the 1990 analytical pads? I asked this before and was told 'just go to Amazon' but I can't find 'dt1990 ANALYTICAL pads on there.
Hello. What model is Openheart exactly? Can you indicate the link?... I have them in my basket for the Ananda Nano and R9, but I wish it were compatible with my T1 3a. Thank you

The cable supplied with the T1.2/T1.3 is more than adequate - 7N copper.

Also cables built for Denon D9200/7200 should work. Beyerdynamic themselves used to offer a short cable with 2.5mm termination… I think I have one of these still laying around somewhere.
Edit: OK, useless with the Go Blu, which only has 4.4 for balanced

Each time I listen to the T1.3, it just sounds wonderful. Big dynamic presentation, nicely filled out and natural bottom end when it's in the recording, rather than being omnipresent. I'd also note the dynamics sound as if they are physically hitting your eardrums, rather than being present without "thump" as with most headphones.
The latter really struck me on first listen.
I've toyed with selling them numerous times, but their sound, efficiency and generally natural presentation has me keeping them and listening through them very regularly. Despite many people thinking Beyerdynamic made a poor decision releasing such a supposedly dark headphone, I say it's actually balanced more to what one actually hears live compared with the usual bass light, treble bright signature of many TOTL headphones.
Trying to EQ these just sounds wrong - I've tried Oratory1990 and Crinacle and neither sounds even close to right (although they both do a great job with my other phones). Take a longer listen to these - the initial "UGGHH" will turn to a smile in time.
They are also beautifully constructed - IMHO, even better than the T1.2 or T1.1.

Yeah the headphones are something special, and how they portray dynamics truly does set them apart. Despite their heavy low-end in terms of measurements I never found it to intrude in the mids. I’ve found whenever I tried to EQ the T1.3 or the T1.2 Black Edition it never worked out, in fact using an eq profile just sounds terrible. I gather the heavily angled driver calls for a different tuning and one has to approach the headphone differently.

Rather than refuting the measurements you resort to spamming.
You're the one trolling the threads, mate. If you have ever bothered to listen to lots of headphones, you would have realised that headphone "goodness" doesn't relate to frequency response graphs, due to the difficulty of correctly charting.
