I knew it's in your arsenal.
But for a slightly different flavor (and great), have a look at the Mojo 2.
The DAC on it is outstanding in this price tier, imo. (And it has even more power than the TR)

It'd pair extremely well with the T1.3, i think.

But for now, enjoy your 10" DAC.

The new mojo looks great.
I follow the mojo thread.
Many people have a noise issue.
Someone says it is the usb cable. Other player/software setup/bitrate.
No one’s sure.
So i’m sceptical…

Is the Impedance flat on G3?
Or varies it like Amiron?

One would have to take special precautions for a dynamic driver to exhibit a flat impedance curve (i.e. damping circuits), a dynamic driver always has at least a resonance peak. This is normally not much of a problem.

I stopped reading about the Mojo 2 when I saw that it still uses micro USB… very unfortunate, since I liked the old Mojo for its sound quality and was thinking about getting the new one.

Hearing about noise issues makes gives me some reassurance that I don’t need one

I don't need the 2 either.
I want it out of curiosity for its DSP/ Crossfeed feature to explore.

But atm, I'm very happy with the OG.

I have sold all my cans over 32ohm.
People and measurements says ipad is great.
My «new» ipad will arrive later this week.
If I need more power I still own my tr-amp. Considering to buy a little dongle instead…
And my atrox?! Always ok with something stationary with much power. But I don’t need it for the moment

That is my feeling as well... I much prefer the simplicity of my current setup, using mostly the Apple dongles or Bluetooth receivers. My original Hugo still sits on my desk, but I hardly use it. I also still own the Beyerdynamic A2 because I like it (such a nice circuit board design, and that orange glow...), but I don't use that one either.

That is my feeling as well... I much prefer the simplicity of my current setup, using mostly the Apple dongles or Bluetooth receivers. My original Hugo still sits on my desk, but I hardly use it. Such a great clean amp.

It is right behind the Oppo HA-1 and some tube amps I want to listen to.


Maybe I should make a road trip to Vienna, which isn't that far away ( 5 hours, I guess )

I have to send my A2 in for repair though, the volume sometimes scratches during adjusting.

We are thinking about a meet in Vienna in october btw
