Hello i was wondering if anybody has ever attempted to wash the felt pads on the dt 990 mine have apparently taken to absorbing sweat and are getting a bit of a foul odor.

Yup, just get some warm water, and some soap, and clean away! Let them air dry, by the way.

ah ok i wanted to make sure that it wouldn't damage the fabric or the acoustics of them thanks.

Might try sticking the pads in a zip lock plastic bag and leave them in the freezer over night.

I also have washed them with warm water and soap a few times without any negative effects, they take some time to dry though.
