So my birthday was a week ago and I was thinking about getting some new cans.
I listen to mostly metal (industrial, heavy, screamo), dubstep, and some rap.
Being my taste is pretty diverse, I could barely find anything good.
I was thinking about the DT 770 pro's with the use of the Fiio E11 but wasn't
sure if I should get the 250 ohm or 80 ohm. I found pretty mixed reviews
and I really am not sure. Suggestions for other headphones are welcome.
I really need something $200 or under. I hope you guys can help me out. Thanks.

Wow! Thanks so much! I was actually looking at those but they were about $300 everywhere else.
For $100 less, that will definitely change my decisions.
Would you consider a fiio e11 of good use with them?
Thank you so much.

Okay, and i REALLY want to be sure.
I read that they are really good for rock and metal-type music.
I am no expert, so that's why I come here. I also want to be sure that they
are good for bass when it comes to dubstep and electronic-type music.
It says that they are acoustic bass and I am not sure if that is suitable or not.
Best regards,

The Denon D2000 is awesome, phenomenal for all genres. It has great attack for rock/metal, and it drops serious 30hz tones for dub.

Very best,

Okay this is my last question haha.
Sorry if I annoy you, but it says these are open box.
I am not sure at what standpoint it would mean, as in if they're used, or refurbished, or just opened and not used.
I'm being really paranoid on what to decide on :-/ i see these have better than the beyer but being they're so much
more expensive and having the price knocked down like this I don't want to take the risk of receiving a damaged item.
Do you think its worth it? If maybe could you recommend another set with the original price at $200 if not?
Thank you for your generosity,

Heya,

You're not getting a brand new in box for $200. That's a used/refurb price. They're $350 new. Still worth it at that price too. At $200, they're ridiculously good for that.

If you receive it and it's damaged at all, you RMA it. It's not a pot-luck deal.

Very best,
