New Head-Fier
I accidently blew the drivers out of my DT 1990 Pro and they are out of warranty so i decided to fix it myself (and make it better maybe?).
This will be my first major headphone project so i will be needing help along the way.
First things first
Selecting the driver:
I am looking to get a warmer sound sig than stock and want a driver that can really make them rumble in the low end.
I was considering the 300ohm variant of this driver https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001782058401.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.4c153c0034smHt&mp=1 or this driver https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32950813973.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.4c153c0034smHt&mp=1
Would either of these be suitable?
I also want to rewire them as balanced while i was at it.
Would this socket be a suitable replacement for the stock 3 pin XLR? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000582414104.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.3d183c00h1rKtZ&mp=1
