Really Beyer design is just perfect. Every headphone should copy Beyer build and only change the driver and acoustic materials that affects the sound

i tried dt880 in a local shop and absolutely love their design, comfort. I didnt like its sound when comparing to my akg k701 and hd600. But in term of comfort and feeling, hd600 and dt880 is very good.
On the other hand, hifiman quality control is a big issue for me to buy any their product although their price (especially through taobao) is very reasonable.

I forgot about Hifiman's quality/control. It doesn't matter if their prices are good or very reasonable, you still pay for their product and it's in your damn right you have a working product.

I tried my T5p.2 cable on my Amiron Home and no difference. However, 3m cable is just frustrating and dumb so using the Meze 99 cables of 1.2m.

Newer Amiron Home have better clamping than the early ones, different "package" aswell. The clamping is far better now if I do say so myself

I bought my first Amiron 2018, always thought the clamp was to light so I decided to try order a new one just for the fun of it, this newer one clamps much better, like a lot better (not sure if my old one was defect or if this is a change from Beyer). Could be a silent revision.



The package is also changed, black package instead of the white one, it contains the same
though (same cable and carrying case, just new "design/styling)

Sound is the same, bit better bass thanks to the tighter clamp

Or only the package is changed. I ordered my Amiron Home back in december 2019 but had to wait two weeks or more due to out of stock or had to be produced first? I got the black box too. Clamping force is very light, it's the lightest I've ever have.
