thanks, rep

+1 for the vanilla Q5 too. The Q5s added better BT codecs, but otherwise is essentially the same. And with either you have the option of swapping out the amp module. I have the AM3A driving my 250 ohm dt 1770 pro's effortlessly off of the balanced connection, at low gain, so plenty of headroom. They aren't balanced from stock, but the am5 module will also easily drive them in standard form.

I did just look at this little beast. The specs are indeed impressive and it's actually pretty potent. (same power as the AM3A module!) I'd definitely consider it if i didn't already have a Q5. But I'd also consider the XDUOO xd-05 plus. That thing will power ANY headphone, and is very reasonably priced...

Haha you cant say any headphone. Planar magnetics require more than this. :)

Note: I know it is quite good though it is too bulky.

I also have the LG V50 and think it's fantastic. I've everything from semi sensitive IEM's to high impedance headphones. What shocked me is how well it powered the Drop 6xx, very well. The only thing it doesn't do well with is insensitive planars magnetics, like older Hifiman HE series (original 400), which comes as no surprise to me as it needs a desktop amp setup to perform.
I use UAPP/Tidal, no issues.

Fair enough. But most headphones. Certainly those that you would use portably. It's as powerful as pretty much any other portable amp. And saying it's too bulky is a matter of opinion. It's no more bulky than a Mojo, and less so than an Ifi Black Label or Creative E5..

Sony is better among those.
