Hello everyone,
What about Redmi K20 and its Qualcomm WCD9375 independent audio chip. Is it worth buying as a music phone in pair with Shure SE215?

Do you mean that a DAC will not improve the sound quality of Shure SE 215? They are THAT bad?

SE215 are a good IEM, though they won’t win any awards to be sure. In my case they probably get more in ear time than all my other more expensive IEMs as I use them at the gym - they seem to be virtually indestructible and hold up well to a lot of moisture... I think they meant that they are very easy to drive.Do you mean that a DAC will not improve the sound quality of Shure SE 215? They are THAT bad?
Could you please explain what is meant by drive? Low impedance?
Will the quality improve if I switch from a regular phone to hi-fi player or music phone?

Hi,
I got the monk plus earphones. While I have to say the quality of the sound is great, the volume levels are still quite low. I tried with spotify, amazon music and some flacs via HibyMusic. My question is this - is there something I am missing in terms of settings etc? Just a little curious, do let me know if something crosses your mind! Or is is the g6 plus? I am not able to make this out !
