sorry guys just want to up this, i have no idea what phone to buy, i knew that LG V-series are good but i didn't know how it will perform on Spotify..
i owned Le Max x900+ and the Digitizer is broken, i bought the replacement digitizer but there are no tech-shop here in the Philippines that can fix it..
so i decided to buy a new phone.. the Le Max x900+ is so good hands-down for live, acoustic and rock music on Spotify..

so any suggestions are really appreciated.. thanks!

Sorry for miss this question. I recommend LG V30 for this genre in spotify. Actually I would like to recommend honor10 but it needs to be "chinese version" not the global version.

What I found so far is the global version hasn't Hi-Fi option but it replace by the word "natural" instead. I think that is the reason why when I listen to global is so-so why Hi-Fi in chinese Honor is quite impressive in same level like vivo x9/x20 series.

<< Global version

<< Chinese version

<< Global rom talks about Histen which is 3D Audio

<< Chinese rom talks about both Hi-Fi and 3D.

I don't know if it is about firmware or the hardware.... but I doubt this is why Chinese version has higher price tag than Global version except for RAM (4GB VS 6GB) and why I get different impression on both devices.

Vivo Apex goes mass-produced announcement is on 12 Jun. Save the date! If it is new vivo xplay flagship, I am going to get this unit to review for sure :)

It means the HiFi option is missing. Software tuning is missing. But it still can play hires.. but not with the best tuning.

I didn't think that Huawei would do this, at the same time I'm glad to know they're engaging on this.

I'm no audiofile, pretty happy with my Philips SHE3700 driven by Xperia X on Deezer.
Would the Meizu EP2X be a good upgrade? Does anyone used it yet?

It got down to a Honor 8x cracked up & no idea if vz would activate 90.00

Or a vs996 a 30 day return & vzw! :) 60 shipped

What a deal, the bad esn iphone turned out to be good after a full rom flash :)
Yet it sucks as a player or just as bad as out put is 48k only.

Thanks to all here
Will usb output do DSD?

I apologize in advance, i might have asked this question before.
but i can't find it and the fact is, i'm still confused.
So...
is there a significant difference in sound quality between smartphones using *low impedance* in ear headphones?
Thanks a lot

Depending on the brand of SP, no,
Look the high ones on this list
Now the Vivo seems to have the most solid amp
I just ordered a V30 I expect no problems with my 26 ohm P7s

There is difference but again it depends on how serious you listen to music and also quality of your iem. EE Zeus R? 64audio U12t? Andromeda? Or just kz zs6

Good dac and amp implementation from devices will make iems shiny to its best capability no matter what impedance they are. However, if you are going deeper, you will someday end up with $1000+ DAP surely. So beware if your ears are more picky.

Just wanna ask, is the LG G5 still good nowadays? Can find some for 70-170USD here secondhand, but some with image retention (so around 30USD more for a replacement screen).
