Alright I think @artpiggo was right about the treble being smoother on the v50.

I have the Toneking Shockwave III which its treble extension is only tolerable on the g7 when I used the impedance plug from faaeal, the high impedance mode causes the sw iii treble to sound smoother and more tamed but in return adds a bit of midbass which is personally fine for me.

Now just recently my impedance plug broke and tried to plug in directly my sw iii on the v50. And to my suprise the treble issues I have on the g7 is not on the v50. I have two conclusions and its either;

1. The v50 treble is indeed smoother without any loss of details, or

2. The v50 low impedance output have more power vs. the g7 since the sw iii needs more power for it to sound good, low power output will make it sound like tin can.

Anyhow, Im very happy I switched to the v50.

Congrats on your purchase! In your view, which do you prefer? LG V50 or Nex S?

I prefer V50. Really smart tuning by meridian.

I
best free alternatives to usb audio player pro and neutron music player? i'm not that stingy, just wanna test it

I made use of Poweramp, foobar2k, player pro, Usb player pro, Neutron MP, Aimp, Hiby and Onkyo HF as the best sounding music players (from much more options) with my Fiio Dap and S8 with USB audio cable and balanced for IEM's with and without portable amp.

I choosed Onkyo HF paid version (a little expensive maybe, but for me worth it) for audio quality even if the parametric Eq from UAPP and Neutron are better (no need of Eq right now) the UI is simple and not too much configurable. If USB audio quality is the most important for you then Onkyo HF is a good option.

Hiby is good, I only make use of Sibilance reduction, but give me some errors with both Dap and smartphone. Sound quality is nice.

Want to know an opinion about S10+ and G8 ThinQ or incoming new alternatives.
