OK HeadphoneAddict and others...I just scored a really nice/new set of Sennheiser PXC 450 cans on ebay for a great price. I also purchased the Headstage Lyrix Pro amp...so the next stage is to get some cables. I have an inexpensive mini to mini cable at home that I use with my JMT built simple home amp that I use with my desktop so may use that mini until I can come up with something else.
Thanks to all for weighing in on this topic. It has been a growing and learning experience that I have really appreciated. I will continue to monitor the forums and I will be asking lots of questions. I can't wait to try out my new cans as I travel and as I spend lots of time in our local coffee shops and coffee shops on the road. I can see how this can get to be VERY addictive...and cost me a lot more money than I had planned on...oh well, it is just money, right???
