Man, in Tucson you can get some pretty great food for less than $10, so it'd be hard for me to say. I love mexican food, so this place works out well for me, but we've got some good BBQ, too.

Some spicy pork with rice (korean) or.. probably nando's half chicken with chips and drink
Aren't most 'meals' $10 anyway?

Junk food is strictly social food for me, wouldn't eat it alone. ever.

I'm assuming I have about £6 to play with, allowing for currency conversion. Best meal to be had for that is a rotisserie chicken and some hot fresh bread from the supermarket, with a little mayo. Bliss.

For fast food, I normally end up with a kebab, which can be awful, or can be the best fast food there is, nicely grilled meat, salad, warm bread.... mmmmm.....

Pancakes for me! Give me a Denny's, iHop or Waffle House anywhere in the world and I'll be a happy man. Well, Ok, sometimes they're not very clean, but otherwise nothing beats the eats of those kinds of places when you're hungry and are not counting any of the 3 nasty C's (calories, carbs and cholesteral).

£6 eh, I could make some mean stuffed grilled mushrooms with £6. It'd take a little while for the brie to get nice and ripe though.

For me, a little deli/sandwich shop in Little Italy called Di Rienzo's. $3.50 for stacked sandwich, I get 2 because I'm a fat person. Add an extra $1 each for double meat and you hit $9.

Or an Indian joint near me called Rangoli. $9.10 gets you a dish of butter chicken, a dish of a predetermined "side curry", raita, rice and a big fat naan. Best $9 bucks you can spend. The food is outstanding.

Thanks, I'm hungry now!

Lick's homeburgers. The best "fast food" burgers around. The image above is actually their Nature Burger, which is absolutely phenomenal. I'm not a vegetarian, but I swap between the beef and veggie burgers almost every other time. Really, really good.
