The bass on Ultimate Ears Metro.fi 2's is great for the money. I have the Super.fi 5 EB also which cost 3 times as much and sounds muddier IMHO. It is a little deeper and louder, but with only $50 the Metro.fi 2's are your best bet. Check out Amazon:

I have the ep-630 and I can tell you, they are probably the best for the money, usually running you ~$20. The bass is punchy and the mids are quite good for a pair in this price range. The highs leave something to be desired, but that's expected. The only beef I have is with the microphonics, very pronounced whilst moving around. If you happen to have one of those clips that holds it to your shirt, I would imagine it would help greatly.
A note on the bass freqs... I haven't tried them but research tells me there is a tradeoff; more bass but less rich mids using the ep-630s as a reference.

I think the ExtremeMac FS1's are the best for bass heavy music. I got mine for 50 bucks with shipping on amazon about a month ago.

x2 for this recommendation.

It's fun here. Different music, different DAPs, and different IEMs will fit different persons with different tastes.
Just enjoy this process.
