any iem can be run out of an iphone, but from my experience, the older iphones with headphone jacks had poor isolation and you could here some buzzing with sensitive iems. considering the fact that you already have the new a12t in your inventory, you've already decided to buy that?
Yes I bought the A12t and its fantastic! I was just inquiring about the best possible option for use solely with a phone. I also use a DX200 AMP3 most of the time, but it is really nice to have an IEM that can sound good from both the phone and the DX200.
