Best IEM $50 or under?

Hey everyone,

What is the best sounding IEM for $50 or under? I want something that focuses on bringing out lots of detail. I don't plan on getting any amps since I'm just gonna use them with my phone.

Thanks!

What music genres do u listen to? And preferred sound signature - u like V shaped, harman tuned, more/less bass/treble?

There are a lot of good CHIFI fare that are < $50 USD with great reviews that were recently released: TRN BA5, TRN V90, KZ ZSX, CCA C12, BLON BL-03. The first 4 in particular seem to have more details/clarity/instrument separation. Whereas the BLON BL-03 is more for slower genres with better timbre/tonality than details.
U can check out or ask more at these threads:

PM me if u need any advise!
All the best and hope u find what u are looking for!

I would also like to throw the tin t2 and t3 into the mix but basking sharks recommendations are all good. Also when buying chifi earphones I would recommend not buying them from amazon but aliexpress instead because they all come from china anyway, shipping may take a bit longer though.

Hello,

Thank you so much for the recommendations and links!

I mainly listen to metal, specifically thrash and death metal. I have looked into all of these and am having trouble deciding between the KZ ZSK and CCA C12 but I think I'm probably leaning towards the C12 more. Read a review saying the vocals aren't very good on ZSK.

If i am not mistaken, both KZ ZSX and CCA C12 are using the same drivers, just different configuration and tuning. They are made by sister companies after all. The ZSX from what I read is more balanced in sound signature whereas CCA C12 is more V shaped (treble and bass boosted relative to mids).

U can ask the others in those threads. There are quite a lot of folks there that listen to metal, but unfortunately it's not a genre I listen to, so i cannot advise much on this front.

Personally I don't think you'll go wrong with either, just depends on your sound signature preferences. Just in time to get a good discount for black friday too. Have fun!
