Properly amped (that's the tough, and expensive, part as you can get the cans themselves new for around $2k; the stock amp SUCKS) Omega 2's are unlike any other headphones I've heard. I'm not always in the mood for their incredible levels of resolution (it's not friendly to bad recordings) or the fact that they seem to take an hour to warm up, but if I have a great recording and a decent amount of time, I'm listening to it on the Stax.
