Looking for the best Headphones i can buy at 60 $ USD or less a bit more specific information to help you all help me.

1. I hate anything In ear

2. Durability is important (As much as can be expected at this price level)

3. Mostly will be used for Gaming on the go/Heavy Rock music

4. Would prefer they not Cover and close entire ear like ATH-M30's do however at this price level i'm open to considering it.

5.  Side question how are the Panasonic RP HTX7's? Not digging the style but a friend of mine said they were good and the local Kmart has two pairs on Clearance for 18$ Down from 60$

Thank you all for your time,

The JVC S500 is a great headphone for about $45 on amazon. The Philips Downtown is another to consider under $60.

Both are definitely topping my list at moment,Still hoping for some feedback on the Panasonic RP HTX7's however due to the price (and the fact they are down to  2 units at this price)

Sorry. I have not heard them. But for $18, probably can't lose on them. Here are a few threads about them:

One more suggestion. Take your mp3 player/phone with you, and listen to them right in the store and make your decision :)

I'd love to but sadly most stores near me asides from RadioShack or best buy don't have demo areas for headphones and RadioShack and best buy it's mostly all beats, skullcandy, bose etc on demo.
