Many people recommend the Audio GD C2C so I'm guessing that the Phoenix will be a really nice choice. BUT I've also heard that the Phoenix's Balanced out is much better than unbalanced out

Denon and Senn is quite different can to begin with.

But, there are many that can drive them well. Phoenix is a good SS for a price. If you are into tube, any of Woo, DNA, ZD, and etc can drive them both very well with impedance switch.

The X-CAN v8 is "stupendous, excellente'" with the Dennon phones... and... at a great price!

Try it... you will be amazed!

I like using my D7000's with my Bijou amp.  Really nice sound.

i've read that the darkvoice 3322 amp drives the denon's pretty well. but it's quite expensive. and going back to the hd650's, that amp should also power those cans as well.

planning to buy a D7000 balanced with cardas cable.

and thinking to upgrade amp from v8p as well. v8p +tubes + little pinkie drives D5000 pretty good, but that just making me feel like more.

something on my list,
HR BUDA,

audio-gd C3-final.

c3-final is described as neutral and will amplify the weakness of bad recording or source, this is something that worries me.
i've never heard anything neutral so i am not sure if i will like those sounds. neither do i know whether my v8p can be described as musical or not.

i want 'musicalness' and punchy but controlled bass which not affect mid too much, as gu-sensei recommended, leben c-300x is excellent if you want that kind of feel.

i was thinking of wa22 as well, but figure out it's too much cost with tube upgrades.

plus, not a good idea to exchange euro these days~
