Hi all,

i've the S:flo2 and i really love it's SQ but i'm using it with HO with crap earphone;
i want to invest in a good IEM or Earphones for use only the LINE OUT, but i don't want to have an AMP.

My idea is to take a SENNHEISER CX/MX 980 only because they have a volume control
(because the LO is high level), do u have any other suggestion about?

Any better phones with volume control?

Thanks

Why not use the headphone out of the S:FLO? Using the line out with an inline attenuator like that on the 980 is unconventional at best

Because the LO is a huge step from the HO, and not using the LO is not using the quality of the S:flo2, you can immediatly feel ANOTHER QUALITY from the LO but u can't listen music because it's too loud and u loose the volume control.

Is there some solution with a proper headphone that could works with the LO of the S:flo2?

Please help! :)

Skull Candy inner ear monitors have a volume attenuator, but I can't say that I recommend them.  Why not invest in a small, cheap portable amplifier like a Fiio E5?  It's really tiny and acts pretty much as a digital volume control.  The bass boost circuit is pretty much a plus as well.  It's around $17

That sounds like an excellent idea. This way you have much more flexibility with earphone choice
