Hey, MRiNick,
I just did a review of ATH-M50 and HFI-580 (literally yesterday night!). See if it will be helpful.

i know you may want something more expensive but for the $70 price tag i feel its a steal. look into the pioneer se m390 headphones. i have had mine since march and have tortured them and they keep going. also the sound quality is spectacular and easily compares to headphones in the low $100 range.

I know you said $100+, but I'd seriously suggest the Koss Pro DJ 100 for your genre. They don't have as much bass as say they D2000 or M50, but they have much better mids. They're also small enough to be portable. They have the perfect amount of bass and would be fine for your genres. They get my vote for the best headphone under $150. I even prefer them to the M50, SRH-840, HFI-680 and a few others. The Denon D1001 or the Creative Aurvana Live might be another option.

M50s are pretty good for their price. But be noticed they are VERY bassy. I personally can't stand them.
Or you can consider HD380s. They sound a little bit dark but I think bass is more nicely controlled.
Only my personal opinions.

Has anyone of u have experience with this Sennheiser HD280 Professional Headphone?Only need $67.How about its performance?

I own a pair, the clarity and isolation is great but the bass is pretty much non-existent without an amp and even then, it isn't that noticeable and not as precise as Senn's open air models. It gains some life with burn-in but they're really, really uncomfortable at first, especially if you wear glasses. I've gotten quite used to them after 8 months but recently, I switched to a temporary pair of glasses with metal frames and its been causing quite a bit of pain after an hour. It's quite a hit or miss, I'm a bit reluctant to ever recommend them.
