May I ask you something very different: how is that it shows that you are always offline but you post comments? Also your profile is the only one which doesn't show when you've been last online? Very curious how do you make it

Thanks guys for your input, I did not make it clear but I am interested in the best Pianists in general, I realise that most of them specialise so it is not an easy question to answer.

I have a bit of a soft spot for the piano. This video sounds rather good with good visuals.

Yes it looks like a competition but where I do not know.

I think there is something magical about her performance?  - but we know the composition is wonderful to start with!

A quote I read from the upload feedback posts:

"The young Korean pianist Yeol Eum Son captures the soul of Mozart's music. Her culture and Mozart's could not be any farther apart but this young woman bridges the east and the west with her phenomenal talent of Mozart's music. Thanks for sharing this joyful piece."

I listened to my disc of Uchida/Tate ECO (Philips), playing Mozart's Pf Ctos 14, 15, and 9 last night, on my floor system. I was floored (pun?). What a gorgeous touch she has.

I also listened to Wilhelm Backhaus and the VPO (Isserstedt/Krauss) playing Beethoven's Pf Cto #4, and despite its age (1950s?), the sound of his piano was exquisite. Highly recommended.

Whatever....sounds pretty good considering the vintage of the recordings. Then there is the VPO.  Which can only help, with that repertoire.

(Schiff used Bosies with his Schubert sonatas on Decca, and I found those recs sounded awful...piano seemed too thin and distant).
